Studying with Meredith Goins
Learning music is a lifetime gift. Studying the fiddle is a gift of joy.
Meredith Goins learned from some of the best musicians of their style and time. It’s a lifelong journey of exploration and learning she started at the age of three, expanded during college, and continues today — picking up lessons and taking part in workshops from fellow musicians every chance she gets.
That philosophy is reflected in how Meredith approaches teaching everything from Classical violin to Bluegrass fiddle. As one of the elite teachers certified in the Mark O’Connor Method™, she teaches a high level of theory and technique through easy-to-achieve steps based entirely in the practice of actually playing music. Her one-on-one approach draws from a lifetime in conservatory classrooms, private study, concert stages, studio sessions, and jamming with the greats to tailor personalized lessons for students of every age and every level of experience.
